Living in an apartment with more road than dirt Jay doesn't get to get out and play much in the grass so I wanted to doing something for him that could be just as fun but still a learning experience. I call it a nature walk.. along the sidewalk. But first we took a spin around the corner on the main road first. The nature finds were of course his favorite part, he loved picking up all kinds of things....with my close monitoring to be sure he didn't pick up anything pooky or poopie.
When we came home we observed all our finds more closely, his fave was the acorn if you didn't notice and I taught him the names of everything but he really didn't care much about that part but more that little acorn. This was way fun for both of us and I just love seeing him do and explore new things.
