The other day I went to the library with Mr. Jaylen and I wanted to be comfortable yet fashionable. I love this Aztec bag my mom got me for my birthday, it's all me and very convenient. Take all the inspiration you need ladies!

New Reads.

I'm so in love with reading these days, although I didn't have much to start off with I am growing my collection. This all started with a book I found at the Dollar Tree that I talked about in my Book Wrapping post. From there I wanted to know what else the dollar store had in store for me to read so I did find like 10 more books that looked interested. 

The most recent one I've started is this one below "What You Wish For" by Kerry Reichs. So far it's a really good book, and has me on my toes wanting to know what coming next. But it's about a woman who is an actor and now coming close to her forty's and possibly the end of her career she wants a baby. The only issue is that she recently got divorced and froze her eggs with her now ex-husbands sperm and is trying to convince him to let her use his sperm to have the baby, and he's already remarried. So as you can imagine it's a bit of a dilemma to try and make this happen. So stay tuned and I will fill you in on how it's going without giving it all away if you decide to read it as well.  

"Tarzajaay" Clearance.

The best place for anything on clearance by far, is Target. I was out just getting some groceries and I was headed to the check out when I saw this cute little coloring book. They had plenty on the shelf so at first I thought something was wrong with them, if you haven't noticed that's usually the first reason anything is on clearance. After a bit of inspection I knew they just were probably over run or something. So I got one, with it being originally 13 bucks I got it for a pretty good deal for 6 and some change. One other great thing about this travel coloring book is that it's by one of my favorite toddler brands Pkolino I have purchased a few other things from them a while back when Jaylen was a baby and I loved them. Their products just last and are super cute and totally my style of "Toy"

Jaylen loves it as well, in the picture he was having a boo boo day because he touched the stove top for the first time ever and definitely the last time. I got this little coloring book when I was at Target to get some pain reliever for his hand. Probably not the best feel better gift considering it was his writing hand that he hurt but he loved it regardless and made it work. 

Some Time to Get Balanced..

So I recently just went back to work full time and school part-time online. I usually can manage many things at once but everything happened so fast I couldn't really get a grip on everything. And I rarely had a day off until yesterday, so the whole month of August I've been working and school none stop.

Now that I've gotten used to my schedule I'm able to manage everything including my blog. I thank you for continuing to view my post and in a way get to know me while I was away for a bit. Look forward to new and fresh updates and exciting things going on in my and Jaylen's life!

Home.

This summer we have had the most amount of storms I've seen since I've been here and really intense ones at that. Jaylen used to be afraid of the loud sound of thunder and come running to me with fear in his eyes, now it doesn't even phase him. He loves to watch as the rain pours against the window as the wind hauls and thunder shakes the house. I also find the thunderstorms to be calming, as ironic as it is, it makes sense because as the rains trickles down the window and the clouds dark as nice I find all peace with it. Maybe because rain reminds me of home, being from Washington it rained all the time it felt like. And being in it all the time I didn't feel this way at all, I just wanted the sun to come out for once but because we don't get rain all the time year round, when it comes it's nice to be reminded of home.

Jaylen doesn't know yet what "home" is when in that context, he was born in Washington and there for 9 months of his life and Florida is all he knows right now. I'm not sure where I want to settle down yet, I want that with a husband and we decide if we will stay here or just let our careers take us where ever. But I can say I want that place to call "home" not just for Jaylen but for my future kids and a new place to call "home" for myself but Washington will always be where my heart is.

Resort Weekend.

My Grandma got this for me and it so perfect to my personality, she had one made for Jaylen with a truck and a perfect description of him. I just love it and it's such a sweet piece I will cherish forever.
