It's Tradition folks

Every Christmas Eve since I can remember my family and I would go out and look at the Christmas lights on the neighbors houses all over town and eat pizza at the same time. This year was a little different, one being in Florida and Jaylen was a bit older to stay out later. We ended up hearing about this man and his family that would show case their home for people to walk around in and look at all the lights and different trees. He tells a story in the beginning and lights up the whole house and yard and the inside is just amazing. Jaylen loved every minute of it.. he lit up just as the lights surrounding him. This is a tradition that I grew up on and will continue to do it every year with my kids too!

Sight seeing.

After Church yesterday we went over to the little farm they have next door and took a look at the horses near by. Jaylen these days has a silence fascination with animals from far away. Just like at the zoo he just kinda stares in amazement. It's quite sweet actually and I can tell he's thinking and just wondering with his little mind. I can't wait to get him is own pet when we have a house and he's a little older I know he'll just love it.

Christmas time is here

The smell of Christmas is in the air! Well kind of, it's our first Christmas in Florida so the air and feel is very different and will definitely take some getting used to. Last year we had snow in Washington around Christmas time. Jaylen as we all know loves helping with any and everything so he was surprised by the tree in a box this year. Last year and every year before that my family always bought a real tree. Being new to Florida we were a bit a afraid of a real tree considering the bug count is higher than we are used to so we decided to play it safe.

My mom and I always love going all out for Christmas and ever since I was a little girl we always have to the decor is always a big deal. We went with a warm yet festive blend this year the purples and the "off gold" as I call it really went well together and made the place feel so warm and cozy.

More Christmas sights later but enjoy the pics, and take all the inspiration you need!
